March 12 State Purchase Requisitions requiring special approvals:

Motor Vehicle Acquisitions: Must be approved by VPBF, Vice Chancellor Fiscal Affairs at BOR, Fleet Management Director and OPB for final approval. This process can take 4 to 6 weeks. Items which are not on state contract must follow the directions for complex acquisitions below.

Complex Acquisitions: ASSETS, RFP's and other items over $10,000 require VPBF approval. Item(s) MUST be placed on the Georgia procurement Registry. You need to allow time for site visits and to reissue RFP's if necessary. A bid opening will be held on a specific date. This process may take up to 8 weeks.

Technological Acquisitions: Computers, software, and maintenance contracts must be approved by CINS Director. Prices on some items change day to day, so you must send updated quotes along with purchase requests to Business Services.
